David remarried to Margaret Townsend Fox in 1879, a widow with three children - Harry, Gertrude and Alfred: David and Margaret welcomed their son, Benjamin Llewellyn, on the 1st of June, 1880. Sadly, he died on August 14th, 1880, aged just 2 mo and 13 days. His two step-siblings, Elizaberh Ann Jenkins and Thomas Alfred Jenkins, who are buried in the same grave, died the previous month: - Thomas, on July 24th and Elizabeth on July 26th. The cause of these three deaths is unknown.
