CHARITY ANNE LOWE

Prominent Woman Died at the Home of Her
Son Near Needham, Thursday Evening.
Mrs. Charity Anne Lowe, widow of the late Henry Lowe, died at 7 o'clock Thursday night at the home of her son, J. P. Lowe, near Needham, of a complication of diseases. She was aged 79 years, 9 months and 2 days at the time of death.
Mrs. Lowe is survived by four sons, who are: William J. Lowe, county commissioner, of Washington township; W. S. Lowe, Noble township; H. V. Lowe, of Lebanon, and the son at whose home she died, and one daughter, Mrs. Anna Hinkle, of Noble township. Besides these she also leaves one sister, Mrs. Emaline Mozingo, of Kansas; 18 grand-children, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Lowe were married in 1856 in Decatur county, Indiana, moving to this county shortly after their marriage. Mr. Lowe preceded his wife in death in 1912. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Lowe removed her home to the home of her son, near Needham.
Funeral services will be held at the late home at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, the Rev. J. C. Chandler, of Mt. Pleasant Christian church officiating. After the services at the home the body will be removed to the Ogden cemetery for burial and the casket will be opened at the cemetery. Ewing & Oldham, of this city, are in charge of the funeral.
