She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Wetzel in 1990.
She was a lifelong parishioner since childhood of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and also attended Sacred Heart Academy.
Margaret was a parochial school teacher at Sacred Heart and St. Anthony's and then at IU13.
She enjoyed playing pinochle with her friends, listening to classical music, visiting the New Jersey shore, where her two daughters reside, and was always a good friend.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Catanese, of Wall, NJ, Barbara Wetzel, of Loch Arbour, NJ, and a sister-in-law, Sister Edward Ann Wetzel, of Kensington, MD. She was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Wetzel, and two brothers, Jerome Jr., and Howard Hergenrother.
A Christian Prayer Service will take place on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602 at 2pm with The Rev. Michael E.
