A Little Valley man and the passenger in his car were treated and released at Salamanca District Hospital Friday night after the auto struck the rear and side of a truck parked on West State Street.
Claude L. Ball, 86, of 104 Third St., Little Valley was westbound when the lights of an oncoming car blinded him, causing him to lose control of the ear. It struck a truck owned by John J. Smith, 29, of 68 Jefferson Street, which was parked on the west side of the street.
Ball was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of a bump on the head and minor chest injuries. A passenger in his auto, Helen VanSlyke, 72, Johnson City, was also treated at the hospital and released for a bump on the head.
