Matilda Carolyn Quicksall was the seventh child of Jonathan Erastus Quicksall and Anne Henry born on 06 Apr 1869 in Morgan County, Kentucky.

At the age of 29, Matilda married Elmer Ellsworth Bishop in Kentucky. They had five children together.

Matilda passed away on 22 Feb 1953 in Tallahassee, Florida. She was 83 years, 10 months, and 16 days old.
