Susan J. Carr, 63, formerly of Spohn Road, Sinking Spring, died Jan. 29, 2011, at 9:15 p.m. in Reading Hosptial. She was taken to the hospital from Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilation Center, where she was a resident for nine years. Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Alice E. (Betz) Carr. She attended Reading High School. She worked in food service at Boscov's West Restaurant and the Ranch House in West Lawn. She was a member of Community ECC.

Surviving are a brother, W. Jeffrey, husband of Peggy A. Carr, Wyomissing; a sister, Joann A., widow of Gary A. Warner, Muhlenberg Township; nieces, Steffany L., wife of Matthew Sheeler, Sinking spring; and Cindy, wife of Keith English, Montoursville; a nephew, Kenneth, husband of Joan Warner, Clearwater, Fla.; and great-nephews, Aaron Westbrook and Andrew Warner. Services at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, will be Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Aulenbach's Cemetery.
