The meaning of happiness for Dr Phineas Quimby was to alleviate the suffering and heal the illnesses of humanity.
A charitable man, never concerning himself with the payment for services rendered to his patients.Whatever his clients were able to give him,was accepted and he left that decision with them. He believed what is called death, was just a change from one state of consciousness to a transcending spiritual state.Dr Quimby Made His transition on January 16,1866 at his home in Belfast,Maine.

His Epitaph Reads: "No Greater Love Hath This,That a man lay Down His Life for his Friends"
