ROBBINS-William L., March 18, 1923 - November 15, 1991. Served in WWII as a Navy Pilot. Married Helen Savage in 1945. A graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Engineering and later served on the President's Council. His professional career began in 1949 with the Carter Oil Co., retiring in 1979 from Exxon Corp. with 30 years total service; 20 years spent in foreign assignments. Member of A.I.M.E., Beta Theta Pi, and Cedar Ridge Country Club. Survived by his wife, Helen; 2 daughters, Suzanne Oelklaus and husband, Harlan of Claremore, Nancy Schrader and husband, Brad of Concord, MA; 6 grandchildren, Corey and Todd Oelklaus, Robbins, Corbin, Whitney and Logan Schrader; 2 brothers, George of Eddy, TX and Erle of Las Vegas, NV. Service 2 p.m., Monday, Stanleys Memorial Chapel. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Claremore or a charity of choice.
