Maude Mock
Manhattan-Maude M. Mock, 88, Manhattan, died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998, at a Manhattan health center.
Mrs. Mock was born Jan. 9, 1910 in Riley County, the daughter of George Lober and Hannah Parry Lober. She grew up near Keats and was graduated from Keats High School. she attended Kansas State University and taught in rural schools in Riley County.
She was a homemaker and taught in the rural schools of Riley County.
Mrs. Mock was a member of the First United Methodist Church , Manhattan, and was a 60 year member of the Ilus Chapter No. 433, OES, Wichita.
She married Loyal Kay Mock on Aug. 30, 1936, in Salina. He died Feb. 3, 1992.
Survivors include one sister, Mary V.Simmons, Manhattan and one brother Roy Lober, Manhattan.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home. Private family inurnment services will be in the Riley Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Manhattan, and sent in care of the funeral home.
