Margaret Caroline Antrim of Defiance, Ohio, and formerly Donna, Texas entered Heaven's Gates on Oct. 18, 2010.
She was born July 14, 1923 in Mebane, N.C., to Rev. John Thomas Kenyon and Annie Wilson Burton (Dec. 1927) and raised by her father and stepmother, Edna Scott Kenyon. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gayther, Wilbur, Rev. John Thomas and Rev. Thomas Kenyon Jr.; and sisters, Estella, Myra McFarland, Annie and Esther Kernodle.
Margaret attended People's Bible School in Greensboro, N.C., and met and married her college sweetheart, Carl Wesley Antrim on Aug. 3, 1941. He preceded in death on November 2005 after 64 years of marriage. Margaret served the Lord in ministry, music, ministry, education and evangelism with her husband in churches and missions throughout the United States, Mexico and New Guinea from 1958 until 2005.
Margaret is survived by her children, Carl Wesley Antrim Jr. (Jean) of Trinity, N.C., Joyce Antrim of Defiance, Ohio, Ron (Vicki) Antrim of Ashboro, N.C., and Steve (Lisa) Antrim of Overland Park, Kansas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three sisters-in-law, Minnie Kenyon of Liberty, N.C., Ruby Kenyon of Ashboro, N.C., and Kay Antrim Goodhue, Nordland, Wash.
The family will receive friends at Mt. Tabor Community Church, Ashboro, N.C., from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, with burial in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions for mission work maybe directed to Bible Methodist Connection Inc., 207 Dameron Ave., Knoxville, Tenn. 37917.
