She was the daughter of Max A.and Belle Goldfine. She was a native of Orange, Texas and lived her entire life there.
She was a graduate of Orange High School and loved being a member of the Bengal Guards. She attended the University of Texas, and returned to Orange, where she met and married her husband of 34 years, Dr. David Bennett, M.D. She was a charter member of the Service League of Orange and participated in the Leaf and Petal Garden Club for many years, and was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by her children, Dr. Frank Bennett, Debbie and Philip Drago, Jr., Shelley and Trent Howell and Ms. Barbara Bennett; her sister, Shirley Sugarman; four grandchildren; one great grandson and by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at Kol Israel Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas.
