Rev. Vincent L. Wright, age 79, the son of Patrick and Elizabeth Miles Wright, was a Navy veteran of World War II. He attended Our Lady of the Angels Seminary, Niagara University and was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Buffalo, New York in 1957. His first assignments were on the Buffalo Missionary Apostolate at Sacred Heart Church, Angelica and was briefly assigned to the Diocese of Raleigh, N.C. Next he served as assistant pastor of St. Mary of the Angels, Olean; for many years, he was a teacher at Bishop Turner High School.
