Funeral services for Roy Gene Sneed, 51, Tucson, Ariz., are pending at West Funeral Home. He died Thursday at his mother's home in Carlsbad.
He was born and raised in Texas, moving to Tucson in 1943. In 1952 he enlisted in the Marine Corps and upon his discharge he returned to Tucson where he worked as an auto transmission mechanic. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Tucson.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Sneed, Melbourne, Fla.; two sons, Gene and Neil Sneed both of Melbourne, Fla.; two daughters, Thressa and Tina Sneed, Melbourne, Fla.; two brothers, Paul and Wendell Sneed both of Cisco, Texas; one sister, Joyce Payne, Dublin, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Agnes Chaffin, and stepfather Paul Chaffin both of Carlsbad; four nephews and five nieces.

Funeral services for Roy Gene Sneed, 51, Tucson, Ariz., will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at West Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery. The Rev. Troy Henager of the Baptist Faith will officiate.
Visitation will be held Thursday at West Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m.
