son of Fritz and Hilda (Gerlach) Bialas. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 until 1965.Larry Eitel Bialas was born April 22, 1941, in Douglas County, SD, to Fritz and Hilda (Gerlach) Bialas. He grew up and attended school in Douglas County. He served in the US Army, from 1963 until 1965. On August 8, 1969, he married Zita Friedrich at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He farmed in Douglas County his entire life. He was a lifetime member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Zita; six sons: Chad Bialas and wife, Nikki, of Parkston, Lance Bialas and wife, Laura of Tea, Joshua Bialas of Mitchell, Jesse Bialas of Moorhead, MN, Jedd Bialas and wife, Rebecca of Hartford and Jacob Bialas of Sioux Falls; seven grandchildren: Derik, Jessica, Jenna, Isaak, Gavin, Ella and Grace; seven brothers: Ivan Bialas and wife, Lena of Parkston, Lawrence Bialas and wife, Bernice of Parkston, Floyd Bialas and wife, Ileen of Parkston, Willard Bialas and wife, Sylvia of Parkston, Lambert Bialas and wife, Lois of Dimock, Duwayne Bialas and wife, Sandy of Parkston, Jim Bialas and wife, Rosie of Parkston; three sisters: Lorraine Hetland of Belvidere, IL, JoAnn Seeman and husband, Darrel of Sioux Falls, Jean Buenning and husband, Gerhardt of Conifer, CO and a sister-in-law, Berniece Bialas of Parkston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Harvey Bialas, two brothers-in-law, Wilmer Baier and Clair Hetland and one daughter-in-law, Pamela Bialas.
