Nellie Mae Troyer, 91, Gridley, passed away at 7:05 a.m. on Monday (Jan. 31, 2011) at her residence.
She was born on July 23, 1919 in Mill Spring, Mo. to William Tyler and Nellie Sarah King Brown. She married Wilborn Troyer on Dec. 22, 1937 in Wayne City. He died on Nov. 10, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, six brothers, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Surviving are four children, W. Earl (Phyllis) Troyer, Goodfield; Carl (Lou Ann) Troyer, Eureka; Shirley (Larry) Oakes, Gridley and Connie (Kent) Klein, Eureka; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Mildred Cox, Fairfield.
