Vickie Steere Goldberg, 64, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at her home.
Born on January 3, 1946 in Asheboro, NC, she was the daughter of Frances Dougan Steere.
Vickie was known for her big heart. She loved gardening and attending Bible Study at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, where she was a member. Vickie devoted much of her time to helping others. Her grandsons, Stone and Kade, were the center of her life and she loved spending time with them.
Other than her mother of North Myrtle Beach, Vickie is survived by her husband Louis Goldberg of North Myrtle Beach; one son, Scott Goldberg and his wife Judy and their children Stone and Kade, all of Marietta, GA; one sister, Toni Shirk and Claude Gray of North Myrtle Beach; niece, Tonya Jones and her husband Bobby; great nephew Bryce Jones, all of McClellanville, SC.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Southeastern Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan B. , 1930 Charlie Hall Blvd., Charleston, SC 29415.
