Ellenville, Jul 18 – Mrs. Carrie E. Blankshan (sic) died at her home on Bartlett street on Sunday, after an illness of three weeks at the age of 73 years. She was born in Ellenville April 8, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Legg. On April 25, 1886, she was married to Edwin B. Blanshan, at St. John's Episcopal Church. Surviving besides her husband are one son, Arthur Blanshan, of Poughkeepsie; two grandchildren and several nices and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Pulling Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. George R. Hiatt of St. John's Episcopal Church. Interment was in the Ellenville Cemetery.
