Mandy Lee Walters, 30, Cloverdale, died at 4:15 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2011, in Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 12, 1980, in Paulding, Ohio, the daughter of Larry and Diana (Sharp) Carnahan of Cloverdale. On July 2, 2004, she married Carl William "Bill" Walters, who survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Amy (Ben) Fleagle of Cloverdale; sisters-in-law, Tasha (Jon) Okuly of Van Wert and Jessica Walters, Van Wert; nieces and nephews, Dessiree Blackmore, Lyrie Okuly, Peyton Okuly, Evan Okuly, Mackenzie Fleagle, Kelsey Fleagle, Jose Sanchez II and Jadence Sanchez; and God sons, Cody Bailey and Jose Sanchez II.
Mandy was a devoted and loving wife, daughter and sister. She deeply loved her pets. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her pets, shopping, reading, going to nieces' and nephews' sporting events. She always loved little ones. Mandy was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan, even though their house was divided. Mandy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was employed at Central Mutual Insurance Companies as a programmer analyst and was a member of Mandale Church of Christ in Christian Union. She was a 1998 graduate of Wayne Trace High School and 2001 graduate of Rhodes State College.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday February 4, 2011, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, with Pastor Don Rogers, Mandale Church of Christ in Christian Union, officiating. Burial will be in Sherman Cemetery
