Survivors are his wife, Lillie Ella Hammond of Alexandria; son, Kevin Ray Hammond of Alexandria; daughter, Pamela Denise Hammond; mother, Agnes Hammond of Alexandria; brothers, Donald Lee Hammond and Willie D. Hammond, both of Alexandria; sisters, Cothana Johnson, Cathie Price, Louise Mickens and Rosie Hills, all of Alexandria, and Vergie Powell and Shirley Williams of Hobe Sound, Fla.; 6 grandchildren.
