He was born June 20, 1920, to John E. and Vera (Savidge) Hickey in Iowa.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. Paul also owned and operated his own trucking company.
He is survived by special friends, Fern Behrens of Tomah; and her daughter, Connie of Elgin, Ill.; three brothers, Gerald (Joyce) and Keith (Lela), both of Iowa, and David (Ramona) of California; two sisters, Helen Gresham and Ila (Bob) Golden, both of Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Edna Maie Delp and Mildred Mendenhall; and three brothers, Cecil, Dean and John Jr.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tomah. Pastor Donald R. Buch will officiate. Burial with military honors by Curtis McNutt VFW Post 1382 will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah.
