"The funeral of Anne Elizabeth Gallup White, wife of Frank White took place at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon, at her late home, Maplewood, about two miles east of Richfield Springs. Mrs. White was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. John Gallup, and was born in Albany on July 29, 1833. She went to Richfield Springs about thirty years ago, her home since then having always been at Maplewood, one of the most attractive residences in the environs of Richfield. Mrs. White was a woman of fine character, cultured and of a charming personality, who will long be remembered by those who knew her. She is survived by her husband, one son, Frank H, White; three daughters, Mrs. Olcott Chamberlain, Miss Alice White and Miss Helen White, and by two grandchildren, Richard Edgar Cary and Alice Mae Cary."
