Barbara Jo Robinson Bradley, 72, of Muskogee, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 after suffering for many years from Alzheimer's disease. She was born May 13, 1938 to Archie and Ora Lee (Rowland) Robinson in Porum, Oklahoma. Barbara grew up in Muskogee and graduated from Muskogee Central High School in 1956. She was married to Donald E. Bradley who preceded her in death in 1974. She worked for OG&E for 35 years and after retirement belonged to the OG&E Pioneers and participated in all the retirement activities that OG&E provided. Barbara was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church in Muskogee where she belonged to the Phillip Sunday School Class, was active in the choir and helped prepare for Communion on the Sundays that The Lord's Supper was observed. She was also a member of the New Friends organization. Barbara was a loving daughter to her parents and was also a loving caregiver to her aunt and uncle, Mildred and Alvin Boen. Funeral services celebrating Barbara's life will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Fosters' Ivory Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
