Anna had an education through the 8th grade. From approximately age 18 to age 23, Anna was a domestic for the James A. Coogan family in Milwaukee.
On October 30, 1913, Anna, age 25, married George E. Cooper, age 28, in Milwaukee County. They resided in West Allis, Wisconsin and had no children.
Her brother John died in 1928 at age 37. This was the same year that her half brother was born (her father remarried in 1927).
Anna celebrated 50 years of marriage with George on Oct. 30, 1963.
Widowed in Feb. 1964, Anna Cooper lived to age 100--a full century! Her four brothers and two sisters predeceased her. Survived only by her half brother Paul (Ellie)Jacobi, as well as many nieces and nephews.
