PEORIA - Elsie H. Dean, 82, of 1136 W. Lakecrest Drive died at 10:34 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, at her residence.
Born March 8, 1917, in Peoria to Charles H. and Helen Chrispel Fisher, she married William F. Dean on Nov. 4, 1940, in Burlington, Iowa. He died Oct. 15, 1985, in Peoria.
One sister also preceded her in death.
--Surviving are two brothers, Herman (and Esther) Fisher of Pekin and Edward Fisher of Peoria; three sisters, Alma Bunn of Sunrise Beach, Mo., Irene Jackson of Peoria and Jean (and Gerald) Marcy of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.
She worked in the deli and bakery at the Kroger store on Wisconsin Avenue for 30 years before retiring.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cumerford-Endsley-Diggle Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank Valente will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
