Idonna Corbridge Hysell, 95, died January 9, 2001 at the Beehive Home located at 12894 S. 1615 W. Riverton, Utah.

She was born August 13, 1905 in Lyman, Wyoming to Jerome and Ella Corbridge. She married Jacob Hysell in a double wedding ceremony at Evanston, Wyoming on September 16, 1922. He preceded her in death in 1990. She received her education in the Lyman, Wyoming public schools.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Draper Second Ward, Sandy Seventeenth Ward and Riverton Park Ward. She held numerous positions throughout her church activities. She was a visiting teacher for approximately 50 years. She crocheted a table cover to be used in the Jordan River Temple and with a team, crocheted a tablecloth for use in Relief Society in the Draper Second Ward building. She attained her most important goal of going through the Temple and that goal was accomplished on September 19, 1991 at the Jordan River Temple.

She and her husband first lived in Sublette, WY., a coal mining town. They later moved to Superior, WY. where they raised a family of four children. They moved to Draper, Utah in 1954 and to Sandy, Utah in 1965.

Her oldest son, Jacob A., was deceased in 1970 at Springfield, Oregon.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the team family of Beehive Homes for their loving care and friendship, and to the staff of Rocky Mountain Hospice for their compassionate service.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 S. 1700 E., Sandy, Utah where friends may call on Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
