She was the daughter of the late Newton & Effie Stone Maness.She received her education at Pine Ridge School at Twin Bridges,Mo.& was married to Lester Grant Lovan.Mrs.
Lovan had worked at Cabool Poultry Processing & Baxter Labs.She enjoyed visiting & shopping in West Plains,Mo.
& loved her pets.She is survived by two grandsons,Charles & Steve,both of Dora,Mo.;one sister-in-law,Josephine,of Mtn.Grove,Mo.;four nieces & nephews,Eunice,of Mtn.Grove,
Mo.,Susan,of Houston,Tx.,Charles,of Mtn.Home,Ark.& Howard
of Cuba,Mo.;one cousin,Faye,of Mtn.Grove,Mo.;& special
friends,Ruth Rickard & Lora Leroy,both of Dora,Mo.She was
preceded in death by her parents,her husband,one daughter
Floralee Thompson,one son-in-law,John Lee Thompson,
& one brother,Charles Maness.Funeral services for Eunice Mae Lovan were held at 2 p.m.Wednesday,Sept.29,2004,at the
Assembly of Gad Church,Dora,Mo.with interment in the Pleasant Mound Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-
Drago Funeral Home.Memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant Mound Cemetery.
