Mrs. Herman Lukesh, 44, of 931 Fremont Street, Kiel, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon in the waiting room of a doctor’s office at Kiel. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage.

Nee Martha Wessel, the daughter of Henry and Mathilda Klemme Wessel, she was born March 24, 1907, on a farm in the town of Herman. Following her marriage to Arnold Schultz on Sept. 5, 1925, she made her home in Sheboygan and on farms in the towns of Herman and Meeme. After his death on March 28, 1937, she moved to Kiel.
She was married to Herman Lukesh at Kiel on Aug. 31, 1945. Mrs. Lukesh was a member of the St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church and the G.U.G. Germania society.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Willard (Dorothy) Diefenthaler, Kiel and Gertrude and Marion at home; two sons,(sic) Robert Schultz, Kiel and Carl and John Schultz, at home and one granddaughter. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Mathilda Blanke, Plymouth; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Heckman, town of Meeme; Mrs. Alfred Boeger, Sheboygan Falls; Mrs. Elmer Kretsch, Plymouth, and Mrs. Dan Hoefler, Chicago, and two brothers, Julius Wessel, Plymouth and Arthur Wessel, Chicago.

Her father, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

l services will be held Friday at St. Peter’s Evangelical and Reformed church, with the Rev. E. L. Worthman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Schwartzwald cemetery.
