William Schreiber Sheboygan Press October 17, 1933

Kiel—William Schreiber, aged 58 years, well known resident of Franklin, passed away at the family residence in Franklin Sunday morning after an illness of three months. The deceased was born in the town of Meeme, August 26th, 1875, and was married to Miss Helena Stecker, also of Meeme on December 26th, 1903. The couple located in Franklin where Mr. Schreiber conducted a meat marked for twenty-nine years.
Survivors are his wife, three children, Olga, Irma and William at home, two adopted sons, Carl of Sheboygan an Henry, also at home, four brothers, Frederick, Gustave and August Schreiber, of the town of Meeme, and John Schreiber of Markesan, five sisters, Miss Emma Schreiber of the town of Meeme, Mrs. Fred Roethel, town of Meeme, Mrs. Louis Gesch, both of Franklin, and Mrs. Katherine Weisgerber of Elkhart Lake.
Funeral services will be held at the family residence in Franklin, and at the Evangelical church in Schwartzwald. The Rev. E. M. Mohme will officiate and burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
