Edward O. Schneider, 79, of R. 1, Cleveland, a retired farmer died at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital Friday evening. He was born in Howards Grove, Town of Herman, on Feb. 3, 1887, the son of the late William and Henrietta Otto Schneider. He attended the district schools in Howards Grove. Following his marriage to the former Eleanora Bender, at St. Pauls Church, Town of Mosel, June 25, 1911, the couple moved to the farm at Edwards where they spent their entire married life. Mrs. Schneider was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, at Schwartzwald, and was a charter member of the brotherhood.
His is survived by his wife, Eleanora; two daughters, Ms. Herman (Gertrude) Wehmeier, with whom he resided, and Mrs. Raymond (LaVerne) Hahn, R. 1, Elkhart Lake; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at the St. John's United Church of Christ. The Rev. Edmond Hennig, pastor, will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
