Mrs. William Olm, 75, of the town of Meeme, Manitowoc County, died early Thursday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital. Born Oct. 6, 1877, in the town of Schleswig, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Laux. On June 1, 1899, she was married to Mr. Olm in Meeme, where the couple continued to farm on the Olm homestead throughout their lives. Three months ago the couple moved to the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Rone Roethel, in the town of New Holstein. They celebrated their golden wedding in 1949. She was a lifelong member of the St. John Evangelical and Reformed Church, Schwartzwald, and a member of the Ladies' Aid Society.
Surviving are; the husband; the daughter, Mrs. Roethel; one son, Edgar of Schleswig; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Schuman, of Colby; and a brother, Peter, of Schleswig. She was preceded in death by a son, William, in 1940.
Services will be held Sunday at the St. John Evangelical and Reformed Church, Schwartzwald, with the Rev. William Schultz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
