Cleveland—Ferdinand H. Olm, 70, passed away Wednesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Otto Schueler, known as the Olm homestead, in the town of Meeme. He had been ill for some time. Mr. Olm was born December 4, 1862, at Howards Grove, the son of the late Jonathan and Fredericka Olm. He was married on Oct. 22, 1886, to Hulda Wirth of the town of Herman, and following their marriage they made their home in Reedsville, Wis., where he conducted a meat market and tavern. After four years, they moved to the town of Meeme where he owned and operated a cheese factory and farm. Mrs. Olm died Nov. 10, 1933. Mr. Olm was a member of St. John's Evangelical church of Schwartzwald and served as an elder for 26 years.
Surviving him are four sons, Arthur of the town of Lima, Ewald and Hugo of the town of Meeme, and Ferdinand Jr., of Sheboygan; five daughters, Mrs. Leon (Alma) Laack of Potters, Mrs. George (Lydia) Neuman and Mrs. Ray (Selma) Perronne of Plymouth, Mrs. Theo (Laura) Meyer and Mrs. Otto (Hulda) Schueler of the town of Meeme; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Herman Olm, town of Eaton, Manitowoc County; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Sommers, Owen, Wis. His parents, one brother, and one sister also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Schueler home and in St. John's Evangelical church, Schwartzwald. The Rev. William Schultz will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
