Mrs. Hilda Olm, 80, of 821 Second St., Kiel, died Thursday night at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after a short illness.
The former Hilda Fiedler was born on Sept. 11, 1906 in Cleveland, daughter of the late Herman and Minnie Begemann Fiedler.
She attended Center School in Cleveland.
On Jan. 30, 1926, she married Ferdinand Olm at St. John’s United Church of Christ Church (sic), Cleveland. The couple farmed in the Osman area before moving to Kiel in 1953. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1971.
She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Kiel, its women’s guild, and the church’s senior social; and the Kiel Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Karen) Laack of Kiel; a son, Kenneth of Cedar Lake; two grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Hertha Schorer of Howards Grove.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Monday at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Kiel. The Rev. John Baumann, pastor will officiate, Burial will be in Schwartzwald Cemetery, Town of Herman.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, from 4-9 m. on Sunday, and on Monday from 9 to 11 a.m., and then at the church from noon until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
