Funeral services for Paul L. Ochs, 82, of 716 Roosevelt Ave., Howards Grove, who died Friday at Morningside nursing home, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John United Church of Christ, Schwartzwald.
The Rev. Dean Roy Miller and the Rev. Welsey Falk will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Ahrens Funeral Home, Howards Grove, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, until 11 a.m. Monday and at the church from noon until time of services.
Mr. Ochs was born April 6, 1901, in the Town of Mosel, son of William and Sophie Westermeyer Ochs.
He was a graduate of Sheboygan Business College.
On June 30, 1928, he married Olga Brass. Mrs. Ochs died Aug. 25, 1958.
On June 13, 1964, he married Mabel Hensel at Sheboygan.
Mr. Ochs farmed in the Town of Herman, retiring in 1969.
He served for 27 years as a director of the State Bank of Howards Grove and was a bus driver for the Howards Grove School District for 11 years.
Mr. Ochs was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Schwartzwald, and served on the church consistory. He was a member of the men’s brotherhood of the church.
Survivors are his wife: Three daughters, Mrs. Donald (LaVerne) Schroeder of Plymouth, Mrs. Kenneth (Caroline) Moenning of Oshkosh and Mrs. Kenneth (Rose Marie) Seipel of Arlington, Texas; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Keith (Beverly) Belvoas of Sheboygan; two stepsons, Ralph Hensel of West Bend and Howard Hensel of Naples, Fla.; seven grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; three great stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Bender and Kiel and Mrs. Esther Oswald of Elkhart Lake; and a brother, Walter Ochs of Plymouth.
He was preceded in death by a twin daughter, a brother and a stepdaughter.
