St. John Evangelical and Reformed Church, Schwartzwald, depending on the return
of a son, Donald, who is on his way home from the armed forces in Germany. The
Rev. Edward L. Hennig will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Meyer, nee Laura Olm, was born in the Town of Meeme, March 30, 1899, the
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Olm. She was married June 16, 1921
to Theodore Meyer at St. John Church and couple operated the Meyer homestead farm
in the Town of Meeme. Mrs. Meyer was a lifelong member of St. John Church and also
a member of the Spring Corner Homemakers.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Merlin of Howards Grove
and Donald with the Army in Germany; four sisters, Mrs. Leon Laack of Hilbert, Mrs.
Lydia Neuman of Plymouth, Mrs. Hulda Schueler of Rt. 1, Cleveland, Mrs. Raymond
Peronne of Rt. 1, Plymouth; four brothers, Arthur of Sheboygan Falls, Ewald and
Hugo of Rt. 1, Cleveland and Ferdinand of Kiel.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz funeral Home, Kiel after 2 pm Friday until 10 am
Saturday when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state until the time
of service.
