Henry Schmidt of Windsor Dies Here----Windsor, May 17,---Henry Schmidt, 87, died Wednesday at Weld County Public Hospital where he had been a patient three days. Mr. Schmidt had been ill six weeks.
Born Jan 22, 1864 in Dietel, Russia, he was married there to Marie Elizabeth Rink in 1884. They, with their six children, came to the United States in 1913, locating at Windsor. Mrs. Schmidt died a year and a half ago.
Survivors include these children, Mrs. Elizabeth Winter, and Dave Schmidt, both of Windsor, Henry Schmidt, Jr., living in the British zone of Germany, Christ Schmidt of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Maria Jerger of Gering, Nebr.., and Christine Schmidt of Fort Collins. Also surviving are 32 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, with interment at Lakeview. (Windsor, Weld Cnty., CO, May 17, 1951)
