Victor Schanhals, 41 year old Windsor businessman, died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Denver, where he had been a patient for over 3 weeks.
He had a distant relative Jacob Schanhals, also of Windsor who died Wednesday evening at the Weld County Nursing Home.
Victor was born in Windsor and lived in that community all of his life. He married Helen Meyer on Nov. 18, 1952, in Denver. He served with the US Army in Korea. He was a member of Zion Church of Christ.

Also survived by three grandchildren. Services Saturday 2 pm, Zion United Church of Christ. Interment Lakeview Cemetery. Military graveside services in charge of Forbes-McKay Post 109, Windsor American Legion.
