Katherine Rutz, 94, of Fort Collins, formerly of Windsor, died Wednesday, May 15 [2002], at Blue Grouse Nursing Home in Fort Collins. She was born March 7, 1908, in Windsor to Jaob and Elizabeth (Lind) Altergott. On Feb. 5, 1928, she married William W. Rutz in Windsor. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Windsor.

Survivors are a daughter; two sisters, Marie and Ruth; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Verna (Rutz) Page, 3 sisters and 4 brothers are deceased.
