Denver - Alice Bechtholdt, 89, of Denver formerly of Fort Collins, Died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1989, at a Denver nursing home.

A funeral service will be at 2pm Monday at Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor with the Rev. Keith Haemmelmann officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor.

Mrs. Bechtholdt was born Feb. 14, 1899, in Russia. She married Alexander Schwartzkoff in May 1916 in Gering, Neb. He died in 1937. She married George Hoff in 1940 in Kimball, Neb. He died in 1961. She married Henry Bechtholdt on Nov. 12, 1961, in Greeley. He died Feb. 28, 1981.

She was a homemaker. She immigrated to the US in 1911 and moved to Denver in January 1982 after living in Fort Collins for 20 years.

She became an American citizen in the early 1940s. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor. She belonged to the Ladies Aid.

She is survived by 7 children, Pauline, Betty, Donna, Lillian, Carl, all of Denver, Rueben of Lubbock, Texas; and Fred of Gering; a brother, Alex Minch of Scottsbluff, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
