"John Stiteler died at 6 o'clock last evening at his home, 317 Second avenue of general debility. He was aged 70 years and 5 months. He was born and lived the greater part of his life in Sinking Valley. He is survived by his wife and a son and daughter, John Stiteler and Mrs. Amanda Kunker, both of Altoona, and two stepsons, Joseph M. Davis of Altoona, and Dr. M.J. Davis, of Mansfield, O. The funeral will occur tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock with services in Bethany Lutheran church; interment in Greenwood cemetery."
