Donald D Manning, 71, of Maquoketa, died Friday, August 1, 1986, at Crestridge Nursing Home. Services will be 11 am Monday at W G Carson & Son Funeral Home. Rev Richard Eis of United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will be 7-9 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr Manning was born April 21, 1915, Jackson Co., to Clyde & Phoebe Arterberry Manning. He married Esther Hamann October 15, 1936, Rock Island, Illinois. Survivors include his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs Madonna Clark of Maquoketa & Mrs Margaret Kloft of Winter Haven, Florida, 2 sons, Raymond of Lennox, Iowa & Jerry of Maquoketa, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Mrs Hazel Streets of Maquoketa & Mrs Doris Jargo of Erie, Ill. 3 brothers, Lloyd, Lester & Clyde JR ,all of Maquoketa. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Joyce Joan Manning, 3 sisters & a brother.
