Mrs. Beard was born January 30, 1914, in Leompte, Louisiana. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lecompte.
Survivors include two sons; two sisters, Mrs. Virigie Hathorn of Lecompte and Mrs. Zula Saunders of Channelview, Texas. She was also survived by four grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, June 6, 1990 from the Cahpel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria with Reverends Jimmy Koonce and Ron Aguillard officiating.
Interment: Alexandria Memorial Gardens.
