Jesse Bray, 100 years, 1 month, and 2 days of age, of Burnside, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, August 15th, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on July 13th, 1911 in Tateville, Kentucky, son of the late William Luther Bray and Rose Johnson Bray. He had formerly worked as a loader for Kingsford Charcoal Plant, and was of the Baptist faith.
Jesse was survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Luther and Rose Bray; his wife, Elsie L. Childers Bray; two brothers, Henry Bray and Luke Bray; and one sister, Odie Lewis.
Visitations were held on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky with a graveside service held at 2:00 p.m. in the Grave Hill Cemetery in Tateville, Kentucky.
