MRS. H. M. TALKINGTON
PROSPER (Special)--Funeral services for Mrs. H. M. Talkington, who was 100 years old on March 19, were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the Prosper Presbyterian Church.

Dr. John Knox Bowling of Dallas was to officiate, with the Rev. Robert Lee of Prosper assisting. Burial was to be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Talkington died at 4 a.m. Monday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lola Mohon of Denton. She had been living with Mrs. Mohon for several ears.

She was born in Columbus, Texas, on March 19, 1862 and moved to Collin County in 1874. She joined the Walnut Grove Presbyterian Church at 12 and then became a charter member of the Prosper Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include five sons: Tom Talkington and Raymond Talkington of Ft. Worth; Walter Talkington of Dallas Texas; Drude Talkington of Texarkana; and Vern Talkington, of Lewisville, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. Lola Mohon; Mrs. Winnie Mohon of Prosper, Texas; Mrs. Eula Talkington of Little Rock, Arkansas; Mrs. Jessie Ackerman of Tyler, Texas; and Mrs. Mabel Hukill of Pampa, Texas; and numerous grandchildren.

Pallbearers were to be Ross Atkins, U.N. Clary, Ralph Boyer, Mitchell Nevins, Bruce Sterling and Maynard Atkins, all of Prosper.
