Urcel Coburn Dies Sunday
Urcel Coburn, 2436 Towns End drive, died Sunday night at Park View hospital following a short illness.
Mr. Coburn was born Nov. 3, 1915, Bokchito, and had lived in El Reno for the past 17 years, alter having lived previously in Geary and Watonga.
A pipe fitter for the Rock Island railroad, he was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers International association, local 386, and the First Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, Winifred, of the home; a son, Fred, of the home; his mother, Mrs. Ida M. Coburn, Watonga; seven sisters, Mrs. Arthur Alexander, Verden, Mrs. Linnie Knight and Mrs. Zona Wigington, both of Geary, Mrs. W. W. Hartigan, Wynnevvood, Mrs. Virgil Wigington, Watonga, Mrs. Everett Medell, Vinnington, Mrs. C. E. Clevenger, 710 Sunset drive; five brothers, Floyd and Velmer, both of Geary, David of Watonga, Denford of Amarillo, Tex., and L. G. of Oklahoma City.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist church with Dr. W. F. Staton, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the El Reno cemetery under direction of the Benson funeral home.
