Emeret was buried at the location of the old Mentor Pioneer Cemetery which was located at the corner of Mentor Ave & Center Street. The old stones were moved to the Mentor City Cemetery but the bodies were left on site. The Center Street School was built on top of the old cemetery and the old cemetery was probably where the gymnasium and auditorium are now. See photos
