Services for Alfred Edward Anderson, 87, of 2506 Gekeler Lane, who died Saturday at his home, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Relyea Chapel by the Rev. Donald Skinner. Interment will follow at Dry Creek.
Mr. Anderson was born May 28, 1880, in Pioneerville, Idaho.
He served several terms as a Boise County commissioner and lived on a farm at Grimes Pass for 30 years before moving to Boise in 1946. For 12 years, he carried mail from Grimes Pass to Centerville. He engaged in mining and lumbering while living at Grimes Pass.
Mr. and Mrs. Anderson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in December of 1963.
Mrs. Anderson died in April of 1965.
Surviving is a son Donald E. Anderson of Boise.
Pallbearers will be Donald Anderson, George A Relyea, Kenneth Thompson, Keith Prestel, Warner C. Mills and Clarence Thompson.
