Krista was born April 17, 1977 in Omaha, Nebraska to Hanne and Philip Turner. She graduated from Springfield High School in Delaware County, PA in 1995. In 1999, Krista graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and later, she received a Masters in Education from Avila University. Krista is survived by her daughter, Sophia Magdalena Re, her parents and her fiance, Saad Mirza, all of Lee's Summit, MO.
