Born in Pommern, Germany, the former Anna Kamradt came to the United States in 1872 locating in Jefferson County. Miss Kamradt and John C. Karberg were the second to be married in the new St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Janesville, Wisconsin on May 29, 1884. Anna was a charter member of the church, had been affiliated with the Ladies Aid Society and until her health failed was active in parish work.
Surviving are one son, Arthur F. Karberg and two grandchildren, John and Jane Karberg, both of Janesville.
