Mrs. Ed. Weed has been very sick the past week with pneumonia. Dr. Batchelder has been attending her. At this writing, January 22, she is just a trifle better.

Death of Mrs. Ed. Weed
Mrs. Ed. Weed, of Otisco, died Sunday night last of pneumonia. Mrs. Weed was born in Jackson county, Iowa, in 1857. She was married to Mr. Weed in 1885. She was a granddaughter of the late Hon. Wm. Brisbane. A husband and five children, Jennie, Elva, Bennie, Katie, and Percy, are left to mourn her death.
The funeral will be held at the house to-day, Wednesday, at 1 p.m., and the remains will be laid to rest in the cemetery west of New Richland.
