The funeral of Mrs. Mary Eugenie Rager, well known Chico matron, who died at her home at Davis and Virginia streets late Saturday night, will be held from the Bicknell & Moore chapel here at 10 o’clock this forenoon, Rev. Galen Lee Rose officiating. Interment will take place in Chico cemetery.
Mrs. Rager is survived by her husband, W.M. Rager; two children, James and Nellie Rager; two sisters, Miss Zelma Dukes, of Chico, and Mrs. Hattie Horn, of Santa rosa; five brothers, Gideon Dukes, Hugh Dukes, Fay Dukes, Robert Dukes, all of Chico, and Earl Dukes, of Alturas; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Y.B. Dukes, of Chico.
